Invasive plants? Hah! They didn’t stand a chance when MEVO teamed up with Linda Rohleder to form the Invasive Strike Force Team! September 23rd at Abram S. Hewitt State Park, MEVO removed a variety of invasive from wisteria, to Japanese stilt grass, and wineberry. From beginning to end our volunteers helped clear out the land from its foreign inhabitants to help put some balance back in the ecosystem. Great job this weekend, Strike Force!
