A side note to yesterday’s post. After the daffodils were planted, all that was left to do was pile on the mulch. Here we have Katie, more than excited to do just that—with the mulch retaining water and preventing soil erosion to help the daffodils bloom in springtime. The daffodils say thanks: to Katie, and to all the other volunteers!
