Oh, the weather out there is frightful and a few weeks ago the snow was delightful. But if MEVO’s donations of soil and compost from Mayor Bill LaForet—made from the leaves and branches put on edge of your street every fall—and the Township of Mahwah are left outside for the winter they will freeze. And it’s seriously not fun to dig in frozen soil. So last weekend MEVO stored all its soil in the MEVO shed so there could be warm soil to start plant seedlings in March. Long story short…mission accomplished. So let’s keep up the great work for next spring MEVO!
