Eric Fuchs-Stengel is smiling and holding an eggplant at the same time. Why? That’s because this eggplant, along with over a thousand pounds of fresh produce, was harvested at MEVO’s Bergen County Educational Farm. This produce will go to feed hungry families in Northern New Jersey through the Center For Food Action.
Eric hopes to have many more harvests like this in the years ahead, as our educational farm transforms sustainability in New Jersey.
