If you were to go on a walk through the woods in the Stag Hill community of Mahwah, New Jersey you would likely find the following: trees, the occasional wild turkey, and illegal dumping. Lots of illegal dumping.
In fact, based off this photo alone MEVO managed to find tires, the body of an old car, construction debris, and a decaying sofa all within fifty feet of each other. And this is just a sample of the pollution that has been dumped in the area over many, many years.
Fortunately, MEVO is taking this trash on, one clean-up at a time. And we start our clean-up events again next year, we’ll need volunteers like you to come help deal with this illegal dumping, once and for all.
