Swales! Yes, swales are a big part of MEVO’s Bergen County Educational Farm. They work to capture rainwater run-off so that the crops MEVO grows capture as much water as possible. And these swales are everywhere on our farm, thanks to many a dedicated MEVO volunteer. So let’s celebrate the swale, and the amazing volunteers that build them.
