MEVO Board Of Directors Member Sandy Shevack (who teaches Sociology courses at Ramapo College) will be conducting research of poverty reduction strategies at the United Africa Community Center near Arusha, Tanzania, thanks in part to a grant from Ramapo College.
“This is an opportunity for MEVO to develop international linkages as did when we helped host 1992 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Rigoberta Menchu Tum at Ramapo College two years ago”, said Sandy.
